Webster University Leiden
The 25th anniversary program was a huge success, also due to the significant addition of a true global citizen, Frederik Willem de Klerk (1936), who spoke about education of young people as the starting point of poverty resolution and the possible role of Webster University in educating the new global leaders!
The jubilee program started with an international buffet and live music. Mayor Henri Lenferink of Leiden officially opened Webster’s new Living and Learning Center.
Following the campus festivities, guests were welcomed at the Dutch National Antiquities Museum (Rijksmuseum van Oudheden) for a formal program featuring Advisory Board member Dr. Fons Trompenaars, one of the world’s most influential management thinkers. Trompenaars is recognized the world over for his work as consultant, trainer, motivational speaker and author of various books on all subjects of culture and business.
The evening ended with a musical performance by Convoi Exceptionel.
